I wrote about my husband and daughter starting sauerkraut on 28 December last year. I thought I should post the results of the fermentation that has been going on (rather odiferously) in the weeks since.
They had filled a 3-gallon crock with shredded cabbage—packed tight. Today I canned (bottled) 26 pints of well-fermented sauerkraut!
Impressive!
