Biscuit Stars (a.k.a. Starry Scones)

Itโ€™s been a long time since I blogged about biscuit stars (or Starry Scones, as I call them here in NZ, since ‘biscuits’ are cookies here). Itโ€™s been a while since I made them, too.

I was feeling whimsical on Sunday morning, though, and whipped one up for breakfast. As usual, it turned out beautifully and took minimal effort. It struck me as the perfect โ€˜fancyโ€™ breakfast for the coming busy holiday season.

Try making one of these yourselfโ€”everyone will ooh and aah over your amazing culinary skills, and you never have to let on that itโ€™s dead easy (I wonโ€™t tell โ€ฆ).

Here’s the recipe. Enjoy!

  1. Hi Robinne – just a question about your recipe, which looks delicious! What is wholemeal flour – is that whole grain flour or something else? Thanks for the clarification.
