A Fitting End

This morning, I baked up the very last pumpkin from last summer’s crop. It was large enough that I made a generous batch of pumpkin cranberry cupcakes and a pumpkin pizza with it.

Sweet and savoury. Pumpkin is so versatile, I felt it was a fitting end to the season’s bounty.
